A floating concrete volume with a few warm accents in wood: those key points summarize the design of this family residence. The sober volume appears to be borne by the landings in the front garden. The stairway from the landing to the entrance area is subtly built into the concrete that frames the wooden front facade. The other facades are designed completely in concrete and glass. The seams in the concrete have been carefully planned so they come at logical places. The windows, framed in wood, are separated from the concrete walls by a shadow gap.
