A part of the green decor.
A part of the green decor.
Rotselaar 2014
Design and realization of a single-family residence.
This no-nonsense design defines the housing programme as austere architecture. The form remains limited to the essence and is stripped of unnecessary frills. Located at the edge of a forest, the residence blends in with the green decor. The selection of nuanced brick contributes to this. A dark sheeting material adds variation to the siding. The exterior joinery and the various entrance ways to the residence nicely blend together. Windows are used sparingly, but are carefully placed. This enables the residents to enjoy daylight and qualitative views.
